You can’t miss hanging out with Santa Claus at the Cincinnati Museum Center! The Christmas display here has been a Cincinnati tradition since 1946.

Visit Holiday Junction and immerse yourself in a stunning Northern Lights display, impressive model trains, and LEGO cities that will captivate families of all ages. Some of the LEGOs on display will show scenes from your favorite stories—from Disney to Marvel and DC Comics to even Harry Potter.

The trains also tell the history of the Duke Energy Holiday Trains with an interactive storybook to match. Santa will make his grand appearance on November 26, so you better watch out!

Please note: The museum will not allow children to sit on Santa’s lap this year. Instead, they can tell the helpful elf their Christmas wishes and interact with Santa through plexiglass for a 100 % contactless Santa visit.

Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens

If your kids love animals as much as Santa Claus, then you must take them to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Not only will they see live animals, but they’ll also be surrounded by a Wild Wonderland as 4 million LED lights wrap the zoo’s winter grounds. And if you pay close attention to the zoo’s pathways, you might encounter animal fairy decorations that could grant you an extra wish this Christmas.

Meet Santa and his animal friends on November 23, 2021, starting at 4 PM.

Reminder: The regular admission fee still applies.

Washington Park

Bring your children, your date, or even your dog to Washington Park as Santa brings his workshop from the North Pole to Cincinnati.

Join his elves as they make gifts, decorations, and other fun crafts for both young and old. And don’t forget to write your Christmas wish at the wish-list station so that Santa and the elves can check their list twice.

Santa will be making a special visit at the opening of his workshop on November 27, but his scheduled dates are from November 28-December 20, 12:00-4:00 PM. The event is free, but you need to bring your own camera if you want a photo with jolly old Saint Nicolas.

Newport Aquarium

Newport Aquarium is one of the most unique places to go see Santa in Cincinnati.

Watch as Santa swims with sharks, fishes, and other sea creatures, and tell him your Christmas wish. Then watch his magical show after where he and his elves fill the theater with enchanted bubbles. And every time a bubble pops, a wish is granted.

(Who knows—that wish could be yours!)

Experience underwater adventures with Santa on November 21 and 24.

How many children can say that they’ve had breakfast with Santa in Ohio?

We’re guessing not many.

Give your children an extra treat by booking a meal, photoshoot, and workshop with Santa at Loveland. And if having breakfast with Santa is beyond your budget, you can still spot Mr. and Mrs. Claus at another time and visit the historic Winter Wonderland on display.

Breakfast with Santa is scheduled for December 12, 10:30 AM—12:00 PM. The meetup with Mr. and Mrs. Claus is on December 18-20.

Fountain Square Ice Rink

You can’t think of Christmas without thinking of ice skating and Santa Claus, so why not combine the two?

Santa skates at the Fountain Square Ice Rink. Watch him twirl, glide, and spin as he dashes across from one end of the ice rink to another. You might even have Santa as your skating partner!

Santa appears at the Ice Rink from November 28 to December 20.

Eastgate Mall
