Sheraton Grand Gingerbread Village

For a completely unique experience that will totally capture your imagination and sweet tooth, visit this Seattle staple. Each year, a team of local architects, chefs, and children collaborate to build beautiful and structurally impressive gingerbread creations, raising funds for those with type 1 diabetes (over $1 million raised thus far!).

8,000 volunteer hours and thousands of pounds of dough, icing and candy go into creating this event which has been running since 1992. Fostering community spirit and good cheer, it has become a long-standing tradition that warms the heart and fills those who visit with child-like wonder and the unbelievable creations.
